Went on time and adventured to TH, for HappyDrunk.
But i should avoid doing this again.
Lunch was at shenton house. Surprisingly i find suggesting and finding places more natural now. Even brings a smile to my face.
1. Spent morning researching
2. Spent afternoon with interesting COEs
3. Still got some to go on.

Day 10
It was another rather boring day. The interns are increasingly drifting apart during lunch, meeting their friends or not compatible schedules. Ended up eating at MOS burger because of the NTU girl. Really regret it the moment i asked her to suggest.
Summary
1. Boss came to let me know about some problems regarding the portal but no solution was given
2. Attended a call on the Smile and took minutes
3. Key in some data inputs for analysis
4. Research about news
5. Guess its Friday
6. Smile is making G stay longer than he should. I should help him out.

Day 9
Today is a reflection day. Both Jarin and my sis asked me about the work so far. What i got from Jarin was that audit is really a job that doesn't fit the hours-to-pay tradeoff, and life is subjected to the people there.. and the chances of a bad boss does not seem low.
It is interesting though, to see her hanging on, keeping her eyes right on the 3 years for a CPA.
This relates back to a session with my sis, who asked me what i did. To sum it up, i found out i learnt nothing much, the job isnt related to my field of study, and well, its really just admin work. The good thing is i'm looking at it in another angle. There are still learning pointers, such as understanding the business better, getting along with people and adjusting to corporate life. Yet, a nagging sound still eats at me: Is this what i want?
I understand how my brain seems to work. It always searches for extreme cases and display it for me. I would then struggle between a logical choice: 0 or 1. True or False. But why not 0.5? Why not, it depends?
Summary of Day
1. Went early as there's a meeting.
2. Went into meeting only at 11. The session was the last out of the timeslot. Did some research, read the news
3. Helped in booking venues.
4. Attended meetings.
5. Lunch was at Golden shoe again, but maybe its better to hang out with the interns.
6. Drinking session with MC. Had great "sitting" jap food and wine
7. Overall, a really boring day.
8 May need to do some mystery calls.

Day 8
The day started with me overcoming the "in the system" fears and concerns, but worrying about a rather top level, plan view perspective.
Was anything i do worth it?
Will that extra effort translate to any tangible or intangible benefits?
Should i even be doing so much, given i'm here, and not.. somewhere better?
Just when these thoughts probe me, I was faced with a decision of dinner. Naturally, it didnt go well.
But my takeaway, after the whole day, is that attitude does matter. Sometimes, be careful what you wish for.
Summary of the day:
1. Did the usual data entry for my analysis
2. Called for Meeting. Was quite interesting talking about movie/dinner
3. Continued doing work. Had Nuts sales. Became nuts
4. Bought Indonesian food at the foodcourt
5. Finished up with work but linked-in stalled on me.
6. Good 1 hour talk with fox
7. Went around finding photos before dinner
8. Good dinner, but bad dessert.

Day 7
Its one of the days where I feel like being a hermit.
The only interesting thing was probably lunch, where i led the way to Golden Shoe (wow, i cant believe this), and i ended up buying a curry rice for $4.90. It was a long journey but certainly worth it.
The other parts of the day was really quite dry. Got the contact list and all the names, had to input data. Spent most of my time fiddling with the portal. It was definitely a tough time figuring out..
Besides that, it was really, mundane.

Day 6
Its Monday again. But it feels completely different. The mood was more intense. Got asked to show what i did. Maybe I was yearning too much to produce results. Coupled with the fact today was results day, it did make me a bit jittery. As i type, i'm feeling like an attack of panic is coming.
But to adapt and control is what i must learn.
1. Collected breakfast from HappyDrunk.
2. Microwaved and eat breakfast.
3. Got called to a weekly catchup session.
4. Sudden meeting from skip level boss.
5. Presented what i did to both bosses.
6. Shortly after, it was lunch.
7. Fiddled and tried to figure out how to use the portal..
8. Still cannot figure out.
9. Lost on direction.
10. Joined in a call about a compliance issue with my SIS.
Tired.

Day 5
I have never looked forward to Friday for so long.
Don't get me wrong, i dont dread working, in fact, i enjoy it. But Friday is one of the days where my energy level... slowly fell.
1. It's Dress-down day! But i got late because i was fumbling over what to wear and all the different things i have to bring while still maintaining smart casual. Yes, i think formal is much easier now.
2. Which brings me to my 2nd point: I was late! Luckily it isnt as strict here, but my boss was already in the office. heh.
3. Fiddled with Pivot Tables and Excel. Completed 2 of the tasks. Played with the new access i have to complete these tasks. Quite mundane work.
4. Lunch was amazing, surprisingly. MEXOUT was HORRIBLE as it was FILLING. We decided to take-away and eat in the pantry area. Had a great talk, sharing what we did. But that didnt take up the bulk. Most of it was kinda funny, unorthodox talk and slacking around. We had lunch till 1.30pm, after which 2 left to oldfolks home to volunteer while the rest went back to their tasks.
5. Had agreed to meet HappyDrunk for some cheese tarts but a sudden message told me that there's a voice conference call! It was last minute and the call was certainly interesting. You know, NTU has A, B and... C!
6. After that Jess asked me to find some stuff. Then i went to meet HappyDrunk.
7. Was really tired and exhausted. Boss told me i could leave early.
8. Bridge was alright. Quite looking forward to it. Not a successful game but definitely fun.
